Riddhi Patel, DMD

Growing up, I always knew I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. I often tell patients that becoming an oral surgeon wasn’t one big decision, it was a journey that shaped who I am.

I was born in India and moved to the United States with my family when I was in high school. Starting over in a new country wasn’t always easy, but it taught me resilience, gratitude, and the value of hard work. Before long, South Carolina felt like home. I attended Furman University, graduated magna cum laude, and spent two years working at the Greenwood Genetic Center. It was there that I realized I wanted a career where I could combine science, precision, and caring for people.

That path led me to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where I graduated in the top 10 of my class, followed by oral and maxillofacial surgery training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. After residency, I treated facial trauma at a Level I Trauma Center in Ohio before focusing on advanced implant and full-arch dentistry, completing additional training in digital full-arch rehabilitation.

As grateful as I am for every step of my career, opening Harmony Oral Surgery has been the most meaningful one.

Harmony Oral Facial Surgery | Zygomatic Implants, Full Mouth Implants and Replacing Missing Teeth

I didn’t want to build just another dental office. I wanted to create a place where patients feel genuinely cared for, where they’re listened to, never rushed, and always treated with honesty and compassion. Being independently owned allows me to practice the way I believe medicine should be practiced: putting people first, not production goals. Every recommendation I make is one I’d be comfortable making for my own family.

Today, my husband and I are raising our two daughters in the Charlotte area, and we couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home. We love this community, and it’s a privilege to care for the people who live here. Whether you’re coming in for wisdom teeth, dental implants, or a more complex procedure, I hope you’ll feel the same warmth, trust, and personal attention that inspired the name Harmony.

Thank you for trusting me and my team with your care. We look forward to welcoming you to our family.
