Dr. Riddhi Patel, DMD is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the South Carolina Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and both the North Carolina and South Carolina Dental Societies. She graduated in the top 10 of her class at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed chief year in her oral surgery residency. She was recognized by Incisal Edge Magazine as a 40 Under 40 honoree, one of the most competitive distinctions in dentistry for young professionals.

From the moment you send a referral our way, communication is a priority. Our team responds quickly, confirms appointment scheduling, and keeps your office informed throughout the process. We understand that how we treat your patient reflects on you, so we hold ourselves to the same standard you do.

After treatment, we provide clear follow-up communication so your patient can return to your practice with confidence. We do not operate as a revolving door. Our goal is a smooth handoff in both directions, so the relationship between your office and your patient stays intact. Dr. Patel also leads two study clubs locally, including the Carolina Collaborative Study Club, an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club, where she facilitates interdisciplinary treatment planning conversations. She understands the restorative side of the equation because she actively works within it.

Harmony Dental Implants and Oral Surgery handles a wide range of surgical needs across both our Charlotte and Tega Cay locations. Cases we regularly accept on referral include:

• Dental implants, including All-on-X full-arch rehabilitation, sinus lifts, and zygomatic implants for patients with severe bone loss
• Wisdom teeth removal, including impacted and surgically complex cases
• Bone grafting and socket preservation for implant site preparation
• Tooth extractions, including routine and surgical cases
• Oral pathology evaluation and treatment
• Sedation options ranging from nitrous to IV sedation to general anesthesia for medically complex or anxious patients
• Emergency oral surgery for time-sensitive cases that need same-day or next-day attention

If a patient’s needs fall outside your scope or require surgical intervention before restorative work can proceed, we are equipped to handle it at either location.

Two Convenient Locations Across the Charlotte Metro

We serve patients from both our Charlotte, NC office at 3541 Randolph Road, Suite 302, and our Tega Cay, SC office at 1180 Stonecrest Boulevard, Suite 101. For referring offices in South Carolina, the Fort Mill and Indian Land corridors, or the Lake Wylie area, the Tega Cay location offers a shorter drive for patients who might otherwise defer treatment due to distance. Having two locations means your referrals are less likely to fall through.

How to Submit a Referral

Submitting a referral is straightforward. You can use our online referral form below to send patient information directly, or your office can reach out to coordinate scheduling. We accept most major PPO insurance plans, including Delta Dental, Ameritas, Aetna, Guardian, Principal, MetLife, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Concordia, and United Healthcare, as well as HSA and FSA funds. Financing options are also available through Cherry for patients who need flexible payment arrangements. The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons recognizes that effective communication between referring and surgical offices is foundational to quality patient outcomes, and we take that seriously on our end.
